    I have noticed, Sun, how in the mornings you linger longer and longer on the soft fog sheets, rise slowly from your sleep, wash your face in the cool dew, and after temptingly stretching wear the thin cloak of a cobweb. You cannot resist the lure of looking down on yourself in the mirror of the rain-slicked lake. Though the image is duller than in days gone by, you still bask in your glow. And we look expectantly at you, naively hoping for a warm look, a hug, a kiss. “The summer romance is over” mockingly murmur the leaves that have fallen underfoot. Shh…, no need to remind it, I know it always ends. And I'm not the least bit sad about it. Because I'm falling in love again. With autumn.
